The Gîte de Montgenet is located between Chambord and Cheverny, 10 minutes from each of these two castles and 35 minutes from the magnificent ZooParc de Beauval. It is ideally located to visit the great Châteaux of the Loire Valley more generally (Royal Château de Blois 20 minutes away, Amboise 40 minutes away, Chenonceau 45 minutes away). You can also enjoy the local gastronomy with the Cheverny Vineyards, strawberries and asparagus from Sologne. Located on the edge of forest properties, the location is also ideal for listening to the deer's bellow from the end of August and for cycling (nearby trails and Loire à Vélo cycle route). The town of Bracieux is 3km away and has all the local shops: bakery, butcher, tobacconist, pharmacy, doctors. In a typical Sologne house, our gîte will seduce you with its exposed beams and old floor tiles. It is located in a quiet, quiet street, far from the main road.
