90 m² gîte set up in the former lodgings of the Carthusian brothers, on the 1st floor of the town hall. You will appreciate its large living room with its fully equipped kitchen area, its Wi-Fi access and its 2 large bedrooms with private bathrooms. Guests, with family or friends, will find peace and serenity in this comfortable gîte. which has a small garden on the ground floor. Football and tennis pitch near the gîte. A communal car park is located outside 50 m from the gîte. The temporary access for unloading luggage is closed by an electric terminal which is automatically raised. Please do not use it even if you find it open. Please contact the information point. Only the staff are authorized to open the access terminal. The Tourist Office and the town hall decline all responsibility in the event of an incident occurring while passing through the terminal. For 500 years, silence and solitude reigned in this place inhabited by monks. During the French Revolution, after the departure of the Carthusians, the inhabitants transformed it into a village. Thus was born the commune of Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez, today classified among the most beautiful villages in France and a village of character in the Loire. Housed in the buildings of the monastery, this site has retained all its authenticity.
