In the heart of the Val d'Allier, in a quiet area, the charming village of St Ilpize offers a rich and varied panorama combining rivers, vast meadows, forests and hiking trails, in a mild and very sunny climate.

Remarkable for its architecture, the medieval town was built around a castle and its chapel dating from the 11th century which are now listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

The house is located in the heart of the place called Channat which offers a splendid view towards the Allier valley and the Monts de la Margeride.

Activities in the immediate vicinity: Visit to the village, fishing, canoeing and white water activities in Allier, hiking, museum of the Ribeyre grape variety conservatory...

A few kilometers away: the Chilhac paleontology museum, the remarkable villages of Brioude and Lavoulte Chilhac, the Ally plateau and its mills, the Benedictine abbey of Lavaudieu.

A little further still: 45 minutes from the town of Puy-en-Velay and its numerous buildings classified as UNESCO world heritage sites. A staircase of a few steps leads you to the balcony allowing access to the gîte. Laid out on one level, the house is very functional.
The 20m² living room is made up of a kitchen area, dining area and lounge area.
The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms of 13 and 11 m² each equipped with a double bed, a 4m² bathroom and separate toilets.

On the exterior side you will benefit from a small flowered terrace in addition to the balcony.
