Located in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, this region is ideal for discovering the regional fauna and flora. You can indulge in hiking (Puy Violent, Puy Mary and Puy Chavaroche nearby), fishing (Auze and Maronne rivers), Nordic activities at Falgoux and the Col de Légal (cross-country skiing, snowshoes, sled dogs) and swimming at the Mauriac aquatic center. You can also visit the listed villages of Salers and Tournemire, the castles of Anjony and La Trémolière as well as the Salers cow house.
