Description of the accommodation

This detached house in the village benefits from an enclosed plot of 500 m² with a very pleasant shaded garden without vis-à-vis.

Inside, a large living room with a lounge-dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. A large bedroom (two steps to access it) overlooking the garden. A bathroom with shower and bathtub. A separate toilet. A laundry area with washing machine.

Upstairs (13 steps), enjoy a relaxation and games area (attic) ideal for children, then, at both ends of the room, two attic sleeping areas: one with two 90 x 190 cm beds and one space with a 140 x 190 cm bed.

On the terrace, enjoy garden furniture, deckchairs, a barbecue, parasols and a charcoal barbecue. Old forge in the village of Razac-de-Saussignac completely renovated by the owners. Just 20 minutes from Bergerac by car, in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful bastides of Eymet, Issigeac, Monbazillac, Monpazier and Beaumont-du-Périgord. From this house, set off to discover the vineyards of the Périgord Pourpre.

Your host:
Originally from the North of France, we dreamed of settling in the Dordogne. It happened in 2018! Today we also live in Razac de Saussignac.
Four years of work were necessary to transform the old forge of the village into our Gîte called La Forge Basile, in memory of its blacksmith, Basile.
We have renovated and decorated it with care and are delighted with the positive feedback from our tenants during this first season. We will be very happy to welcome you in 2025.
