Cadouin itself has a small weekly market on Wednesdays, a boulangerie, a selection of restaurants/cafés as well as a number of attractive artistic boutiques. For more substantial shopping, Beaumont and Le Buisson are both a short car ride away.

On entering the property via the huge arched French doors one sees the impressive stone staircase with wrought iron balustrade which leads upstairs to the bedroom wings.

On the ground floor, to the left of the staircase, is a very large open plan sitting/dining room with stone floor and huge arched double doors leading out to the dining terrace overlooking the pool and views. The dining room, with long solid wood table, has pale tone walls and attractive artwork. Three wide steps lead down to the lower level where there are comfortable sofas grouped around a large coffee table and, to the right, a further cosy sitting area with armchairs, warm tone walls and stone fireplace - ideal for escaping with a good book. A piano sits majestically to the left of the main sitting room.

Returning to the dining room, the kitchen is located to the rear via a large stone archway. The kitchen, also with stone floor, has a good range of brilliant white base units, glass extractor over induction hob and electric oven. There is a breakfast bar and high stools to one side of the room and sloping white beams give an interesting feel to the room. A solid oak door leads out the the rear of the property.

To the right of the staircase are two double bedrooms (one with new ensuite shower room), a separate WC with basin, and the laundry room.

Upstairs, the remaining four double bedrooms are located two to the right and two to the left from the central staircase. Each of the four bedrooms has wooden flooring and their own new fully tiled shower rooms. The master bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom (with both sunken bath and shower) and a flat screen TV. In one of the double bedrooms there is also a single bed which is suitable for a child. Also on this level is a landing office space with large desk.
