Description of the accommodation

Located in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, this old high-altitude barn, completely renovated, welcomes you to an isolated and exceptional site at an altitude of 1300 meters, in the middle of the summer pastures. Offering a 360° panoramic view, this accommodation is ideal for hiking enthusiasts or those looking to relax and recharge their batteries in a peaceful setting. Access by a 600-meter stoned road. The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities: hiking starts from the cottage and through the Cantal mountains, visits to the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France. In winter, you can practice Nordic activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and dog sledding at Falgoux and the Col de Légal. You have a private, unenclosed outdoor space of approximately 600m² in the middle of the summer pastures that can accommodate a few Salers cows. You can enjoy the view from the south-facing terrace, equipped with a garden table, a parasol and a barbecue. Vehicle parking next to the cottage.

No telephone network inside the cottage. Water supply from a private source. In winter, depending on the weather conditions, access will be on foot only with vehicle parking at the bottom of the path.
