In the former Royal Auditorium of Châtillon-sur-Seine, André offers to the curious, to those passionate about History and/or old stones a family room composed of 2 rooms, ideal for 4 people.
The 56 m² Drawings room is located on the first floor (gîte on the ground floor) and has a 180x200cm bed, a bathroom with Italian shower and WC.
The second adjoining room has two 90x200cm single beds. The whole is very comfortable (courtesy tray, flat screen TV, lounge area) and spacious (80m2).
This unique room, steeped in history, will give you an unforgettable experience. Indeed, this 16th century building was a town hall, a high court during the French Revolution, a prison and then a library… This is why breakfasts are served in a dungeon or in fine weather in the former prisoners’ courtyard.
Many parts of the building are listed as historical monuments, including the dungeons.
Easy parking on the street. Municipal swimming pool and restaurants nearby.
To visit: the Châtillonnais Museum with the Vix vase, the Sources of the Seine, the Crémant road. Many walks in the forest, rivers, Marcenay lake 15 km away. Champagne region 15 km away. National Forest Park.
