Description of the accommodation

Detached house. Ground floor: living room with 2 lounge areas (including 1 on a half-floor with a library and TV) and kitchen with a central island (TV), bedroom (double bed 160 x 200 cm, TV), bathroom with whirlpool tub and walk-in shower, toilet, laundry room (sink, washing machine, dryer, second refrigerator/freezer). Upstairs: bedroom (double bed 160 x 200 cm, single bed), bedroom (double bed 160 x 200 cm), bedroom (2 single beds), bathroom, toilet, dormitory (6 single beds, TV).
Basement cellar with producers' depot. Geothermal heating included from the pond and solar water heater. Games room (ping-pong, darts, shuffleboard, badminton, molki, construction and board games), carport. Terrace and private unfenced garden of approximately 1,000 m² on a property shared with another 4.5-hectare cottage with a 1,300 m² pond. Boating and no-kill fishing are available. In-home massage service upon reservation. Farmyard animals and cattle are welcome. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Ideal for families with a superb living room and terrace surrounded by the famous pear and apple trees of the Domfront region! At the foot of Mont Margantin, Olivier has personally restored this hamlet, abandoned for 30 years, using only traditional and local materials: local sandstone, old tiles, hemp and lime, beams, joists, parquet floors, and paneling made from mature trees on the property... over a 7-year period, achieving a remarkably authentic result!
Olivier's parents offer a tour of their remarkable garden, just 1 km away, as well as a private museum of old agricultural tools from the last century.

Een prachtig gelegen locatie. We kwamen met 15 personen (7 volwassenen en 8 kinderen) en een hond. En voor allen was de Gîte geschikt. Het huis is mooi verbouwd en er is voldoende ruimte voor het parkeren van auto&#39,s. We hebben genoten van alle faciliteiten. De wijn en appelsap in de kelder is lekker. Naar de kust is het anderhalf uur rijden. De kinderen waren dol op de dieren in de omheining. Domfront is een mooi middeleeuws plaatsje. Bezoek vooral ook het kasteel daar (10 km van de Gîte vandaan). In Domfront (aan de weg naar het plaatsje) ligt ook de supermarkt.

La maison ancienne, rénovée avec goût et soucis du confort, l&#39,environnement, le calme, les animaux à proximité qui ont fait la joie des enfants, la mare et la possibilité d&#39,y faire un tour en barque, l&#39,accueil chaleureux de la famille Boisgontier dans la simplicité, la gentillesse et la confiance. Petits et grands ont passé un formidable séjour, Merci !
