Terrace overlooking a wooded garden shared with the owner. Pond and unfenced water feature. Magnificent wooded property of 16,000 m² on an old Percheron farm with a pond. The house offers beautiful volumes with through light and a large west-facing terrace. Roselyne and Philippe, the owners, are passionate about vintage machinery and will be happy to advise you on the best places to visit in the Perche region.

We had a really enjoyable holiday at Mosque-Souris. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and offered the perfect, quiet environment to really relax - very peaceful. The gardens around the house are extensive and immaculately tended by hosts Roselyne and Phillipe who live in the neighbouring house, so they are always around should you need any help. Roselyne speaks very minimal English but we managed to communicate just fine with our limited French.The large terraced area outside the kitchen was perfect for family meals while gazing out across the nearby field where deer would occasionally appear.There seemed to be some confusion on arrival as the property is also offered via Gites de France (although we booked via AirBnB, obviously). We were asked for a 400 euro deposit against breakages but this was waived once the confusion was cleared up.All in all, we would highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.
