Description of the accommodation

Detached 15th century house with a few steps: living room with kitchenette (microwave oven), shower room with toilet (towels provided). Upstairs: landing bedroom (double bed 160 x 200 cm separable). Adjoining room opening onto the garden with dining table. Electric heating included. Shared laundry room. Garden with trees and flowers and adjoining parking shared with the owner. Private recreational fishing pond with woods and picnic tables 1 km away (accessible on request). Farmyard birds on site and at the pond. Former cooking area of the village until the Hundred Years' War, the cottage is perfect for a couple with possibly a young child. The garden is sumptuous and designed by Claude Serais with different spaces to isolate yourself. Located in the heart of the village, your host will be happy to tell you the story of La Carneille, perhaps through a historical hike, passing through its woods full of history and its fishing pond ... and you will probably end the evening with a game of Russian billiards in a friendly atmosphere!
Farmers' market on the 1st Sunday of the month in the village. Exhibition in the garden "La Cavée des artistes" every 1st weekend of July.

Wonderful gîte in the historical village of la Carneille where Claude and Mireille, your hosts, will do everything to give you a unfortgettable experience during your stay with them. The gîte itself is beautifully renovated and provides you with a spacious bedroom, cosy living room, well equiped kitchen and small yet comfortable bathroom. Next to the gîte is wonderful, one of a kind garden that you can use for relexation. What will stick most with us however is the hosts’ hospitality, telling you anything you want to know about the surroundings, the region etc. Definitely recommend this wonderful experience to anyone!
