Description of the accommodation

Between Saint-Dié-des-Vosges and Gérardmer, this detached house, with warm decor, is well-equipped and well-designed, located in a pleasant mountain setting. Groceries and a doctor are 3 km away. Altitude: 670 meters. Hiking trails are available. Ski resorts are 17 km away in Gérardmer (La Mauselaine) or Le Valtin. Wood is provided by the owner for use in the wood-burning stove. Detached house. Ground floor and first floor: 3 bedrooms (3 double beds, 1 cot). Dining room open to the kitchen and living area with a fireplace (wood provided). Bathroom with shower. WC. Shed (ski storage). 39 m² terrace with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Unfenced grounds. Charges not included, electric heating (upon meter reading upon arrival and departure, for amounts exceeding the 8 kW included per day). Wi-Fi. Sheets are provided with beds made for arrival. Maximum two pets allowed with a €20 supplement per pet.

Arriving at the Anould roundabout via the D415 or D8, head towards Fraize. Pass the total station on your right and continue for 200 meters before turning right towards the campsite. Continue for 100 meters and take Rue Jeanne d'Arc on your left. Begin your ascent to the gîte. After a 2.5 km climb, turn left onto Rue Alfred Nobel and pass a horseshoe bend. 50 meters after the bend, turn left onto a small path (Route des Tétras), continue straight ahead for 30 meters. The entrance to the cottage is on your left.

Très beau gîte, très bien entretenu, accueil plein de gentillesse, chauffage par bois très efficace.

L'environnement forestier est très beau, malheureusement la neige a disparu le premier jour et la pluie l'a remplacée. Monsieur Kropp, le propriétaire n'y est pour rien, c'est juste pas de chance. Je ne mets pas 5 sur 5 à cause de l'absence d'insonorisation du gîte. Tous les bruits sont transmis entre le rez-de-chaussée et le 1er étage.
