1 hour 45 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, 1 hour 30 minutes from Lyon and 45 minutes from Saint-Étienne, in the Ponote crown, is Aiguilhe. Known for its famous Rocher Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is on the hillsides of the town that you will find the gîte of Éveline and her husband.

Completely renovated by them, this cottage is comfortable and functional. Its main asset is undoubtedly its pretty landscaped garden, a real corner of tranquility not far from the city, accessible from the outside.

This gîte will be the ideal start for exploring the many monuments listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites that the town of Puy-en-Velay abounds with: the monumental Statue Notre-Dame de France, the Notre-Dame-du-Puy Cathedral and its cloister, the Crozatier Museum inside the Henri Vinay Garden, etc... but also its many activities: the King of the Bird festival, the Puy de Lumières (projection of light shows on the city's monuments), the Digital Chapel and many more!

In the surrounding area: the first stage of the famous Way of Saint Jacques de Compostela, the Via Fluvia greenway, the Fortress of Polignac and the Bois des Seigneurs, the Pinatelle du Zouave, the Cascade de la Beaume, etc...

A little further: the Lac du Bouchet, the wild Gorges of the Loire and those of the Allier, the Meygal volcanoes and the Mezenc plateau.

Market every Saturday morning in Puy-en-Velay. When you arrive in the cottage, you discover the living room consisting of the modern and fully equipped kitchen, the dining area as well as the lounge/TV.

On the same landing is the wellness area with a jacuzzi and an infrared sauna.

Upstairs is the double bedroom, very spacious, it has a 140x190cm bed.

On the mezzanine, you find a reading/relaxation space. A magnificent wooden sideboard takes you to the two single beds (90x190cm) hidden by a trellis.

The cottage has an exterior fully furnished and landscaped by the owners, it is a real little corner of relaxation where you can share good meals and rest. The garden is not adjacent to the gîte, you have to take a small path to get there (5m).

Spa at extra cost.

Baby equipment: travel cot, high chair and unbreakable tableware suitable for babies.

All-inclusive rates including: bed linen and bathroom linen for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (however the cottage must be tidy, trash cans and dishwasher emptied, bed linen grouped in the same place, and sanitary facilities must be in a correct state of cleanliness), heating and electricity within the limit of reasoned and reasonable consumption (16Kwh/day) - if large excess, it will be paid on site to the owners.
